Direct selling considers as a sub-type of network marketing, it always is viewed negatively and having a bad experience, end up keeping a lot of people away from this home business option. However direct Selling can be a viable way to start a home base business but only you go in with the right attitude, knowledge.and willingness to work. Tips for achieving success in MLM and direct selling.


1. Understand that direct selling like any other business


Direct selling marketers already simplified the plan to make it easy to understand, but by doing this way will build up confident that it easy to archive. "help 2 people to get 4 people and you will get a bonus of RM5000." what they didn't tell you is you need to talk to at least 30 people to get 2 ppl and help them talk 60 people each to get their 4 people. These figures aren't exact, but the point is. on this progress, you going to receive many "NO", which going to take down your confidence.

Success in Direct selling is nothing different from any other business success; both also have to know your market, seek them, deliver a useful message to impress them and service them well.


2. Use your company's product and service 

Before selling products to your customers, you should consume it first,  by doing this  you will gain personal experiences and information so that you can discuss them honestly and accurately with potential customers

3. Read and understand your company's marketing, compensation plan, and policies.


some direct selling companies did not allow you to use their name in your marketing, besides that they also don't allow you to set up your own consultant website too. The point is, going in the direct selling business means there will be rules and restrictions need to follow. 

To increase your income, we need to know the way to make money which products are the most popular or earn more income? how can you earn bonuses?  how to help others start a business?

well know the direct selling company terms, which you can run business, how you get paid, and the better you increase your income.

4. Determine the best buyers for your products, services, and business plan.


almost all direct selling companies start new represent by letting them make a contact list of 100 people they know. while you might find your new customer and business partners on the list. this way will not be the most effective way to kick start your home business.  in all other business models, you find the best buyers for your products and focus on them. locate your target market mean you will not selling the product to who is no need it.

we should not only targeting people who want to make money.  we also need to focus on people who only consume the product, sometimes the fact they will start a direct selling business is because they like the product so much and decided to sell them.


5. Figure out where you can find your target market.

Promotion and general advertising will not be effective as well as sending message to who are most likely to purchase what you sell.   what age group your product suits, what occupation? what their needs. that will be the thing that you need to focus on marketing efforts.


6.  Determine your product service and business plan

What is the benefit after your client consume your product?  gain energy? become healthy?  cook better?   reframe all the features of your product become a benefit. if your product is organic, what does it mean, where it comes from, how it is processed?  poor marketing strategies will be a major cost for direct selling career fail.  develop a marketing plan which highlights all the benefit of your company.

7. different yourself from the other represents at the same company


Why the client choose you rather than the other represents?  what is the service that you provide are better than others?  better leadership? offer higher level service? giving more discounts?  the reason is how you going to stand out from all the others represent in the same company.


8. Develop your own website and marketing tools, if allowed.


internet is the best place for seeking potential customers, by developing your own website, facebook, Instagram, you will attract potential customers that are interested in your product,   by doing this way might help you boost up your direct selling career.


9. never-ever give up and quit. 


the main reason that direct selling hard to success is giving up when facing problems. success never comes easy, no matter on any business.   learning how to overcome negative emotions, learning from the mistake, and keep on going forward no matter how.
